The week of pink eye.

Children that have pink eye SUCK!! 

I have broke out the big guns- I purchased Lysol wipes and alcohol based hand sanitizer.

It has been a fun couple of days making sure that Carter doesn't pass this wonderful infection to the rest of our family especially Sophie - who seems to be obsessed with touching Carter's face all the time lately.

When I told Carter that he couldn't touch anything he took it so literally he was walking around the house with his hands up in the air looking like he was being held hostage. I must admit that this was funny at the beginning.

Unfortunately another family member has also got pink eye so Carter has been hanging with them these last couple of days. In this family members research she has found a home remedy made with boiled water (cooled down) and vinegar to clean the eye(s) in between drops. And it works!!

So far *knock on wood* the rest of us are good. So with eternal optimism, endless loads of bedding laundry and so much hand sanitizer that I could blow up a block I am armed..
